Notes from a group of 6th grade kids in Colorado to you Mark. Thank to Jaime for passing these forward:

"Mark Mathers inspires me to not be afraid to be myself. He inspires me to not be afraid to do something that scares me everyday, and not just something that scares me - but challenges me!" - Molly

"I liked this. I don't raft or kayak because I am afraid. He inspired me to try it out... he has inspired me to try something new every once in awhile. He is my "inspirer"  - Arie

"I like how he isn't afraid to show off his body and is proud of himself. And even though both of his arms and legs are amputated, he still does what every other person does because he believes in himself."  -Haley

"I think it is cool how he does what he loves to do even after he had a quad amputation. He has a hard spirit. It is also beyond nice how his friends help him do what he loves, they obviously care a lot about him."  -River

"I think this guy is really interesting. What I found weird/cool/awesome is they connected the paddles to his arms! ...I would clearly like to live up to this guys expectations/example."  - Peter

"Mark is one of the most confident people I have ever seen. I like the fact that he's not afraid to do what he wants. I used to be afraid to even go into the swimming pool without board shorts or a tank-top on because of my stomach and my thighs, but now not so much. "  - Em
